Our kickstarter campaign wrapped up two days ago. Somehow we made it. 95 individuals pledged us a total of $5,772. That’s incredible. Thanks. I can’t wait to spend all of this money.

Rather than regurgitating our carefully scripted craigslist post, I will simply link to craigslist. We’re super pumped to be at this point. We’re searching for the best artists we can find to fill our studios; so if you’re a great artist, and you dig what we’re doing, come be a very integral part of the project.

In October and November we put on several amazing hard core loud shows with local and touring bands.  Turnout has been great, and continues to grow (make sure to join the mailing list to get the newlsetter and reminders of upcoming shows!).

We have a sound-proofed performance space, and construction is under way on five artist’s studios that will be rented out upon completion.

In order to raise funds for these and other ongoing projects, we are about to launch a Kickstarter campaign.  Our video will be up soon so that you can learn more about the space, and consider donating.  Any amount is appreciated!!  This will help ensure that 131washington lives on and expands into an art space for the whole community!
